MORE COMMUNITIES TO ENJOY ELECTRICITY

ABOUT 2,500 communities throughout Anese Exim Bank loan facility for the extension of electricity, the Minister of Energy, Mr. F. k Owusu-Adjapong, told parliament yesterday.

The Minister, who announced this in an answer to a question by the Member of Parliament (MP) for Nkwanta North, Mr. Joseph Kwaku Nayan, noted that the project in those communities had been completed.

Sunon Asogli Power Plant on Course to meet deadline

WORK on the Sunon Asogli Power (Ghana) project at Kpone, near Tema is progressing to meet the projected deadline of six months for the first phase to be completed.

A visit to the site showed the technical team and the engineers busily constructing the various structures to complete the project on schedule.
