President Cuts Sod for the Construction of 17MW Solar Power Project In Lawra-Kaleo

President of the Republic of Ghana in West Africa, H.E Nana Akufo-Addo is expected to cut the sod for the construction of a 4MW and 13WM solar power project in Lawra and Kaleo townships respectively in the Upper West Region on Tuesday.

Hon. John Peter Amewu, Minister for Energy, on Friday 27th September 2019 inspected the completed Tsatsadu Mini-hydro power Project at Alavanyo-Abehenease in the Volta Region. Energy Minister demands efficiency from PDS
Energy Minister, John-Peter Amewu on Wednesday said he would insist that the Power Distribution Service Ghana Limited (PDS) deliver in accordance with the Key Performance Indicators stipulated in the transaction agreement for the restructuring of the operations of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG).  
He said the Government is committed to ensuring that the energy sector is efficiently and effectively run in order to push forward the socio-economic agenda of the country.
