Mrs. Wilhelmina Asamoah is the Chief Director of the Ministry of Energy. She holds an MBA in Education Leadership from the University of Cumbria’s Robert Kennedy College in the UK and a Postgraduate Diploma in International Human Resources and Globalisation from Leicester University, UK. She also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Administration from GIMPA as well as other public administration certificates from the same institution.
Mrs. Wilhermina Asamoah has over 25 years of experience in various public sector roles and until her appointment was the Director, General Administration at the Ministry of Energy.
Mrs. Asamoah had her education at St. Rose’s Senior High School in Akwatia and the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Kumasi, she holds an MBA in Education Leadership from the University of Cumbria’s Robert Kennedy College in the UK and a Postgraduate Diploma in International Human Resources and Globalisation from Leicester University, UK. She also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Administration from GIMPA as well as other public administration certificates from the same institution.
Mrs. Asamoah previously held senior positions at the Ministry of Tourism, the Scholarship Secretariat and the Ghana High Commission in London, UK, and comes to this position with a rich and distinguished public service track record.
