Energy Minister Inspects Ongoing Works at Atuabo Gas Processing Plant

The Minister for Energy and Green Transition paid a working visit to the Atuabo Gas Processing Plant to inspect ongoing maintenance works as part of the scheduled shutdown of the Ghana Gas Infrastructure Project.

He expressed satisfaction with the progress made and encouraged the team to maintain momentum to ensure completion within the stipulated timeframe.

The maintenance programme is aimed at enhancing production efficiency and expanding the plant’s processing capacity. Upon completion, output is expected to increase from 100 million standard cubic feet (mmscf) to 120 mmscf per day.

The Minister assured workers of the full support of President John Dramani Mahama and the Ministry throughout the exercise.
