Minister Tours GNPC, Explorco

Minister for Energy and Green Transition Hon John Abdulai Jinapor has paid a working visit to the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) and its subsidiary, GNPC Explorco, as part of his tour of agencies under the ministry. 

He commended their dedication to Ghana’s upstream petroleum development and urged them to intensify efforts to tackle the decline in our oil production. 

He encouraged GNPC and Explorco to lead the charge in exploring new fields, boosting reserves, and ensuring long-term energy security.

The CEO of GNPC Kwame Ntow Amoah and CEO of GNPC Explorco Sam Arthur assured Hon Minister of their commitment to deliver on thier mandate through innovation, strong partnerships, and capacity building.

Hon Jinapor assured them of the ministry’s continuous to support and emphasised the need to build a strong, globally competitive national oil company that drives growth for Ghana.
