Accra, May 26, 2025 — The Deputy Minister for Energy and Green Transition, Hon. Richard Gyan-Mensah, has underscored the country’s unwavering commitment to accelerating energy access and implementing urgent sector reforms.
He made these remarks during his keynote address at the Mission 300 Ghana Compact Review Workshop at the Best Western Hotel in Accra.

Earlier today, the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) paid a courtesy call on the Minister for Energy and Green Transition, Hon. John Abdulai Jinapor.

Government Inaugurates Second Gas Processing Plant (GPP2) Implementation Committee
Monday, May 12, 2025. Accra – The Minister for Energy & Green Transition, Hon. John Abdulai Jinapor and the Minister for Finance, Hon. Cassiel Ato Forson earlier today inaugurated the Implementation Committee for the construction of Ghana’s Second Gas Processing Plant (GPP II), a transformative national infrastructure initiative aimed at boosting domestic energy capacity, enhancing industrial output, and positioning Ghana as a regional gas processing hub.
